The father of two girls says a man broke into the family's Cockrell Hill apartment early Friday morning and touched his daughters.

The father told police and reporters that his daughters were watching TV in the front room, where they had been sleeping on a mattress, when a man entered the residence through a back window at about 5:15 a.m. Friday.

The girls said the man told them he was a friend of the family and offered to take them to the store to get candy. At some point the man began touching the girls over the clothing, and one of the girls called out to her father.

As the father came into the room, the man exited the front door.  The father chased the man into the parking lot but was unable to catch him. After the man disappeared, the father called police.

The father said it was dark and all happened very fast and that he didn't get a very good look at the man, though he did provide police with a partial description.  He also adds that the man, despite his claim, was not a friend of the family.

Police said the girls, ages 9 and 5, were taken to an area hospital for an evaluation.  Neither were injured. Police said the man was inside the home for about 10 minutes before he was chased out.

Cockrell Hill police confirmed the man tried to get the girls to leave with him and that there was physical contact between the intruder and the girls, but that that contact was not sexual and they were not injured. Police are continuing to investigate and have classified the incident as burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony.  The charge is a first degree felony punishable with a possible life sentence and a fine of $10,000.

The incident took place at the Cedar Square Apartments at 500 Andrews Avenue.

NBC 5's Mark Schnyder contributed to this report.

It was initially believed that the girls were sleeping at the the time the man entered the apartment, that was not the case. We regret the error.

Arlington police say they have found the body of a 77-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease who disappeared last month.

Maria Arrocha wandered out of her Arbor Lane home at New York Avenue and Park Row Lane on Dec. 18.

Arlington police found her body in a wooded area near 1500 E. Abram St. on Thursday afternoon. The Tarrant County medical examiner positively identified the woman as Arrocha on Friday.

Her death was determined to be caused by exposure to the elements.

Martin Arrocha, her son, said he had mixed emotions, saying he was "a little bit angry because we couldn't find her in time, relief because we know she's in a better place today."

Police officers were working closely with volunteer group Search One Rescue Team, which uses K-9s, as part of an ongoing effort to find Maria Arrocha when her body was discovered.

Her family had been searching for Arrocha since her disappearance. They passed out fliers in both English and Spanish throughout North Texas and spent Christmas looking for her.

The rematch of last year's NCAA Division I Football Championship game brought thousands of fans to Frisco Saturday.

Hours before they packed FC Dallas Stadium, fans from Sam Houston State, down the road in Huntsville, and North Dakota State, way up the road in Fargo, gathered to celebrate being a part of a National Championship. No Irish to fight. No Tide to roll, but who cares about them?  No one in Frisco.

"It's just unreal," said North Dakota State fan Kaela Houchin. "I think we brought around 16,000 people, so just to see us come here all the way from Fargo -- which is how many hours away?  It's just incredible."

Fargo is 23 hours away, and some dedicated fans spent that time on old school buses.

"It was everything you'd imagine it would be in an old school bus. Good times, bad times. Heater broke down once. It was worth it," said North Dakota State fan Chuck Schwan.

One thing supporters of both teams agree on is Frisco is a great place to host this game again.

"All the hotels, all the local vendors really opened up there arms to us all," said a Sam Houston State fan who goes by "Lucky."

"The facilities are absolutely fantastic, " said Mike Fairbarn of North Dakota State. "The town is very accommodating. The fans we're competing against are very good sports about everything and Frisco hosts us well.""It's a great mix. I think Frisco's excited to have both our teams here because they're both enthusiastic crowds," said Rick Hannah, Sam Houston State Alum.

Last year, turnout for the FCS title game broke attendance records, the final count for 2013 is not in yet.

17-Year-Old Dies of Flu Complications

Max Schwolert, a senior at Flower Mound Marcus High School, died the day after Christmas during a family vacation in Minnesota.

More Photos and Videos

Hundreds of friends and family members filed into the Village Church in Flower Mound Saturday to remember 17-year-old Maxwell Thomas Schwolert.

"[He] loved God, love people, that was Max's life, that's how he lived it and that's what's been really kind of revealed by the number of people that showed up here," Phil Schwolert, Max's uncle said.

On Dec. 29, Schwolert died in a Minnesota hospital, during a family vacation, after suffering complications from the flu. His aunt told NBC 5 the flu turned to pneumonia, followed by a staph infection.

In the days following his death, friends paid tribute at the Faith Lutheran Church where Schwolert was actively involved with the youth ministry.

Schwolert loved sports, from playing basketball to teeing off on the fairway.

"Actually his grandfather was an avid golfer and is also in heaven and they will be up there playing," Michelle Schwolert, his aunt said.

His aunt and uncle will always remember Schwolert as the vivacious teenager who strived to make others around him smile.

"I think the biggest testament to Max is that he just loved everyone and wanted everyone included in anything that he was a part of and wanted he to make sure everyone knew that God loved them," his aunt said.

Clues in Molesters' Photos Led to Child Porn Arrest

Clues in Photos Led to Child Porn Arrest

Tips from people who said they recognized a woman seen in pictures released as part of a child pornography investigation led to an arrest in North Hills. Lolita Lopez reports for the NBC4 News at Noon on Friday Jan. 4, 2013.

Clues in Background of Photos Could Help Solve Child Porn Case

Investigators credit a calendar from a religious store in Encino and a local phone book -- both clear in the background of more than 40 photos -- as evidence that a then-13-year-old girl was repeatedly sexually assaulted and filmed in the San Fernando Valley. Beverly White reports from Encino for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2013.

Five solid tips from people who told authorities that distinctive tattoos helped them recognize a woman seen in photos released Thursday as part of a child molestation investigation led to an arrest in the 11-year-old case involving "widely circulated" child pornography images.

Letha Mae Montemayor, 52, was taken into custody Thursday night outside an apartment complex in North Hills.

Authorities said they believe the woman is the individual -- identified as "Jane Doe" in a criminal complaint filed Monday -- who appears with an unidentified male in a series of photographs released Thursday afternoon as investigators hunted for leads in the child pornography case.

"Just after ICE's nationwide plea for public assistance, five separate community tips led to the arrest of Jane Doe," said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director John Morton. "This arrest would not have happened without the public's help, and it demonstrates how much individual citizens can do to help law enforcement attack crime."

An appearance in federal court for Montemayor, charged with one count of making child pornography, was scheduled for Monday.

A neighbor of Montemayor's who did not want to be identified said the suspect was a "hoarder" who "did not take care of her body well" and was "rude to all the children."

About 10 hours before her arrest, Morton and other law enforcement agents conducted a news conference regarding "Operation Sunflower," a recently concluded child sex crimes investigation that led to more than 240 arrests. During the news conference, authorities released images of a man and tattooed woman wanted in connection with a child molestation case authorities said occurred about 11 years ago, possibly in Los Angeles.

"The (tipsters) said they recognized the face, the tattoos," said Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Claude Arnold. "They were very confident that it was she. We expect that it would be more difficult because they were older images, but we were optimistic because they were good images."

The woman's tattoos -- a sleeping cat, butterfly and other designs -- are visible in the photographs released Thursday.

But other clues in the background of the images, discovered by Chicago Homeland Security agents in 2007 and passed along to LA agents, prompted investigators to focus on locations in the San Fernando Valley. Forensics analysis of the images, conducted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, revealed details in the pictures, such as close-ups of the tattoos, a calendar from a store and a phonebook.

The criminal complaint alleges that "Jane Doe," now identified as Montemayor, was involved in the production of child pornography images that were "widely circulated" online. The images depict the sexual molestaion of a girl, who appears to be about age 13, according to ICE.

Authorities have not identified the victim or male subject.

"We still want the public's help in identifying John Doe and the victim in the disturbing series of images that continue to be circulated on the Internet," said U.S. Attorney André Birotte.
